Intel Soldered or TIM interfaced IHS?

The Xeon Westmere series of CPUs (Nehalem architecture) is particular to my interest. One would assume all of them are soldered. My question is not only; "are ALL these X5600/X5500 CPUs soldered?" (all the ones I have delidded are) but also I ask "how does one know from an official (else reputable) source; i.e Intel's datasheets?
I believe in the past I have read their whitepapers etc. which have been on their ark website, however they have done away with the old design and I am now left with confusion. (to be honest not totally sure if the white paper even said if the cpus used solder for interfacing the die and the ihs).

Intel never advertised that if it was soldered or tim really. But, all semi-modern cpu generations prior to to ivy bridge were soldered to my knowledge.

Cheers, I think so too.
Don't be afraid to rope in/tag anyone who reads the jargon nonsense whitepapers etc!
