Intel RST on amd chipset - is there any point to have it running?

so i upgraded my old z97+i5 4460 to b350 with r5 1600x. got that leftover app running in background (intel RST). any point to have it running?

there is no difference with it being on and off, i know its not supported officially but isnt storage basically same thing on both platforms? tbh im asking more out of curiosity, system boots instantly anyway and thats all i need from this drive ;p

It is just wasted cycles, but not much of a security risk to leave running.
I would uninstall it, because by the time you switch to a new board, there would be a new version anyway, and I would rather clean install.
Apart from that, it probably wastes less system resources than other, unwanted Windows apps
