Hello! I built a little media server for myself a few months ago with an A750 in it to use with jellyfin and the performance has been great. My issue is that every minute or so the fans will ramp up to max speed for 2 seconds even if im just idling and not watching anything.
I’ve updated the firmware folowing this great guide (Remember to) Update your Intel Arc Firmware on Linux! and tried using intel_gpu_frequency to set a max frequency to make sure it wasnt the card’s temps that were a problem but nothing seems to work.
I’ve tried looking for anything that lets you set a default fan speed and just run with that but i haven’t found anything so hoping someone here can help. Thanks!
