Installing Ubuntu on ThinkPad10 Tablet

I know it is possible to install Ubuntu on a surface pro. How would one install Ubuntu on a Lenovo Thinkpad 10 Tablet with and Intel Atom 64 bit processor? Has anyone tried with success?

A bootable USB or an SD card. From what I read just now searching, I see someone on ubuntuforums successfully installed Ubuntu 14.10 and 15.04, however had trouble with wifi drivers, bluetooth, the battery applet, and their wacom digitizer. So if you really wanna work for it, it miight be possible and it sounds like fun. However I don't know what kind of drivers it needs and whether or not they're available. If you feel confident you can reinstall the stock OS if you can't get Ubuntu or any more bleeding edge stuff to work then I'd go for it. However if you're nervous about it, I might try a project with more documentation available.
