Inktober 2026

**

Another spooky season is upon us, and with it, another Inktober.

Here is the official prompt list for this year if you would like to participate!

Don’t feel like you need to be an artist to participate!
Perfection is boring! Now that AI can draw hands, who cares if your art looks realistic or is proportioned properly? I know my stuff won’t be!

Here are my crappy doodle mockups:

I want to keep it simple this year, so I’m sticking pretty close to the literal word for the most part. If I think of something creative, though, I’ll let it run! Which is what happened with the first prompt this year.

While I was practicing drawing apples, I realized that the bottom part of the apple reminded me of a little bottom. So here you go!

I think you are supposed to put that under your pillow so that the tooth fairy will leave you a quarter.

Also, it might help to explain that is going on here… I thought this was a thread about tattoos. Are we supposed to get 1 each day?

inktober is a yearly “tradition” that started out as a fun creative outlet where you use ink to create a piece of art. However, over the years, many people outside the ink medium have joined in, showcasing their art using the same prompts. I know that r/watercolor and r/gouache on Reddit have had a few people showcasing their art for this year’s Inktober.
