My company is getting ready to dip its toes (if you will) in virtualized storage using InfiniBand as our backend. For the software layer we will be using VMware's VSAN tech (a new comer to the field). Though they are not the most baked product, they have really proved themselves in the past.
What are you thoughts on this? Wendell, have you worked with IPoIB at all?
