Hi,
I’m currently searching for 3 good monitors where i can be productive/creative and play some games (fps included but not most of the time)
I currently own a Samsung 27" @60Hz (slightly curved) TFT and Full-HD
Distance between me and the monitor: 80cm/32inch
I would like to see an improvment like for example, WQHD @120Hz+
So…
(1) Is 27" a good monitor size for this distance?
(2) Which Panel Type is better for my needs (IPS for better Angles or VA [i prefer a good deep black])
(3) Additional advises and also purchas recommandations
1: Monitor size is really a personal thing.
I suppose in regards to a curved monitor slightly bigger is likely more convenient 32 / 34 inch.
2: if you prefer really deep blacks, then a VA panel is the better choice.
Good IPS panels have nicer overall colors and better viewing angles,
however the blacks isn’t really the strongest point from most ips monitors in general.
Also on a good VA panel those viewing angles are fine as well.
3: Budget?
Also VA monitors are also a little bit cheaper generally.
