Im returning the stupid g9. what other mice should

I don't like some features. Like i have to pressed harder than i should to on the scroll button. the weight system is a hassle as well. Someone said the braided wiring will mess up the mouse and leave it dead within a year. works stupidly when playing doom 3. meaning it isnt responsive. .. who still plays that. ahah gave me a heart attack when i saw artifacts in css, clear sky after i installed the mice. probably more


but i do like the on the fly change on the dpi, the left and right scroll button, the up and down side buttons though. pretty cool if your intuitive.


I hear razr is good, i might give them a chance. side winder, probably..


give me a list of good mice that stayed with you for more than a year. or that you really like.

yea, that was me giving you a warning on the cords. future mice i have in mind is the razer deathadder and cyber snipa stinger.

my death adder is nice. if you want high sensitivity try the lachesis, and if you want high sensitivity with low price, sacrificing looks and great drivers then try the cyber snipa stinger.

imho the G5 is still better than the G9.


The G9 is about as pretty as a horse fucking a baby.


Plus, Its really uncomfortable :/

old mousepad... wasn't :P - new, something from Razer, matching this to that would be nice, it might possibly bug me if its not the same company, like different coloured socks, while in camouflage and then you noticed you have rave gear on!!! :O

@ foodyrules, Get a razer exactmat! They're hella cheap but they are fucking amazing quality.

if you ask me, the g5 is even worse than the g9, even though i only got to play with the 9 nine for a few minutes. i didn't like the feel of the g5 regular or v2 after upgrading from the MX518.


I don't care about dpi as much since i wouldn't be using anything high anyway. the mx518 optical is still the best mouse i've used/purchased. but if this were to die, i may finally give razer a chance.


for the keyboard, i played with the tarantula at microcenter and i didn't like it at all. i might try out the razer lycosa or step up to the g15 next time around. i use the g11 and so far i love it.

I don't know about you guys, but Logitech makes some ugly looking mice.

i dunno about you, but the mx518 looks pretty damn nice to me.
