Im Out Of Metal Bands

if youre out of metal get into earlier death metal bands and black metal bands. or search underground bands that have just came out. its best IMO to find bands just starting, theyre raw and pure and usually try their best in making music. www.metalarea.org or www.metal-archives.com. you could always hit up the very helpful welcoming soulseek room +BlackMetal+ ............ kidding. soulseek chats are cesspools and slave pits. dont become a slsk gimp

Rammstein?

Stick with the first three Scar Symmetry albums.  Really, anything with that involves Christian Alvestam.  For Aeons Past by Solution .45 is amazing.  I'd also recommend Soilwork and most Devin Townsend albums.

There is large list of bands I listen to. Some of my favorites are Dragonforce, Death Stars, Nightwish, Axel Rudi Pell and a whole lot more

Ensiferum? Suidakra? Epica? Nightwish?

This post is 3 moths old guys..

One can never have enough bands.

Definitely.  Spiritual Migraton is probably the second best progressive death metal album I've heard, right behind Back to Times of Spledor by Disillusion.

Pantera, Sepultura, Ministry, Slayer, Superjoint Ritual, Strapping Young Lad, Orange Goblin, Damageplan, Devin Townsend, Tool, Fear Factory (Obsolete, Demanufacture, Matyr albums), MotorHead, Rammstein, Nebula, QOTSA (Self Titled, more rock), Red Fang, System of a Down (self titled)

Yeah but he's not gonna see it.

If he's a regular he will see that his thread popped back up in the recent topics.

DEATH \m/ awesome band

No you aren't.

I find it hard to believe that people can't find new bands to listen to in metal. I've been listening to metal for over a decade, and I've listened to every metal sub genre in existence, but there is still a ton of bands I have not found. There are many hidden gems if you are willing to look.

Gojira, carcass, sabaton and finntroll !

Bands that I cannot recommend enough:

  1. SleepMakesWaves (they are an instrumental band, so awesome, ive seen them live a few times. Great blokes)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZw6mUxSvJM
  2. Within Temptation (Operatic Metal, You Just cant go wrong with them, think Evanesance but Sharon den Adel can actually sing)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5yyFrfR37I
  3. Night Wish (Enough Said) (Also check out their imaginarium album ... no seriously sooo good.)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zPonioDYnoY
  4. The Tea Party (It sounds suspect I know but ive them a shot, you wont regret it - all the band members play multiple instruments and it such an awesome sound)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lVtx2PTIE0
  5. Sixx:A.M (The Album the Heroin Diaries needs to be listened to the whole way through, such a moving story)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5G1D9XO_C4
  6. Karnivool (Aussi Band from Perth - Kenny is such a tallented writer ... enough said)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6S6J2oAsJw

There are so many more but these should do for now :) I hope you all enjoy

Here's a few i Recommend. it's a mix and match of different sub-genres.

Am I using Pandora wrong some how? Every time I make a station for something only semi-obscure, it ends up playing the same 10 songs over and over. I just cant do Pandora - there's just not nearly enough content.
