Aliens try to take over earth. Humans fight back and drive aliens to extinction. Aliens get revived and they have to learn to accept each other to avoid another war
Also sounds like Alien Nation but flipped where the Aliens attack the Humans and almost whip them out before stopping and instead try to co-exist with the humans.
