I have put a GTX 970 block onto my galax GTX 970 and it doesn't fit properly. it looks like the capacitor is in the way or something. I would really appreciate it if someone could tell me how to fix this. maybe I chose the wrong water block for my card or maybe I have to realine it.
I think I put this in the wrong area of tek syndicate forums or something but it doesn't really matter because I really just need someone to help me !! please help
.... Clearly your EK waterblock is not compatible with the gpu. - go here for confirmation. http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/step1_complist Take the block off, put the stock cooler back on, sell it. Buy compatible gpu. Hope you have luck getting that pcb straight. Damn shouldve checked compatibility before you purchased it champ.. Bugger.
Often custom cards have a non reference PCB layout unfortunately you have one of them, It is probable that one or more manufactures of VGA Blocks make a cooler just for that card. Otherwise back to your stock cooler!
