So I have a macbook 1,1 that I love to death but my major issue with it is that the Apple EFI is shit and on this model cannot see USB sticks. Also, with the EFI having the traits it has, I get the infamous "But thats 64 bit" screen on i686 iso's. So, turns out I can install libreboot. Problem is the libreboot site is such a retarded clusterfuck that, while yes I can navigate and find the libreboot rom fine, the instructions to install it are fuck all useful and I havo no idea what its talking about.
Has anyone used the site? Has anyone installed libreboot? How the fuck do I do this, do I have to build from the git source? Do I need to use Parabola linux?
Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
