I know absolutly nothing about wireless and need a suggestion

So i just finished putting my grilfriends computer together and set it up at her house and then found out that theres no way for her to get an internet cable routed to her room like we had origionally planned. so thinking quickly i scavenged a belkin wireless card from an old dell she had lying around and threw it in. after installing the drivers and everything it still diddnt work. (its acting like it doesnt even recognize that its there) after a little while of searching i learned that that specific card (Belkin wireless G F5d7000 ver. 7) has no support for windows 7 64bit. so now i have a conundrum. as much as id like for the wireless card to work ive just about given up on it and am looking for a way to get her connected to her houses wireless but i dont really know what Im looking for.

shes only going to use it to watch youtube videos, use facebook and download games off of steam. at most she may play some torchlight 2 online with friends. I was thinking maybe http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0036R9XRU/ref=s9_simh_gw_p147_d0_i6?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1WSDMZ32WPKZS14TJFN4&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846 or http://www.amazon.com/300Mbps-802-11-Wireless-Wifi-Network/dp/B003OZG5NE/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1364267325&sr=8-4&keywords=desktop+wireless+card but i have no idea what the difference is (besides on being internal and one being USB) so should i just grab one of those or spring for somthing more expensive just for some overnight downloading. any suggestions?

quick update i might have found a solution to the old driver problem so im going to try it out first.
