I don't think you understand what a hipster is. Using or liking something that is old or outdated does not make you a hipster. According to this logic, Logan and Wendell are hipsters because they love Model M keyboards. Nowadays people just call someone a hipster as an attempt to insult them.
People just automatically assume, "You do or use something I don't like? Hipster!" or "You use or like something that is old/outdated? Hipster!" or also "You do or use something that is different/uncommon? Hipster!".
Hipsters are people who ironically hate all things that are mainstream and hip and now themselves are trying to set the mainstream fad that they are supposedly against. It's like a hipsterception or hipster22. For example a small indie band starts of with few fans one being a hipster then the band's popularity grows and they start to hate the band because they are getting too popular. Or wearing thick framed black, white, or colored glasses frames without lenses. Or shopping at goodwill as if they have the latest fashion trends. Some call them hipsters I just call them dickheads!
