you can read on the socket “push from this side to lock it and vice versa to unlock it”, but i didn’t any luck…any suggestions?

I removed one like that a couple of weeks ago by placing a flat blade screwdriver in the hole and twisting it gently in the ‘unlock’ direction. After all those years the lock was a bit stuck in place.
