Huhhhhh....the gtx 1080, 70, or wait til AMD takes off their pants?

Compared to all of the high end video cards that are currently out such as the 980 ti and fury x, its pretty good. Especially if your sensible and buy a $599 card which will perform better than the founders card that they're probably basing all these numbers on. Custom pcb and cooler designs will only make this card better.

Definitly wait and see. I am not in the market for a new GPU right now as I am still on 1080p and got myself an R9 Fury last year.
Vega might be a different story.
The 1080 craps out on the high end due to poor bandwith design. Anyone who buys that thing for 4k is.... impatient or stupid.

The benchmarks that I have been seeing have the 1080 still around 25% above the 980ti at 4k. Not sure what you are talking about.

AdoreTVs Founders Edition Review. The 980Ti at 1430MHz is just 3% slower at 1440p. I call that a crap out for the new king of the hill.

Yeah, a highly clocked 980ti is right there next to it, even when the 1080 is overclocked. But stock vs stock, 25% is what we are seeing and that is what everyone is going to be focusing on.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, with factory overclocked 980ti cards vs stock 1080, what I am seeing is something closer to 10% performance difference in favor of the 1080 at 4k.

Who runs his GPU stock? I mean seriously, like 90% of the videocards, sold on the market are overclocked.

High resolution, High refresh-rate gaming.

We're PCmasterrace because we have the option to run games how we want.

Yeah you just gotta play Fallout4/Witcher3/Xcom2 at 4k to realize your gonna need a 1080...

I'm also the guy on the forum who used a p4 for forever and before that K7's so it seems stupid to me lol
