HPE Proliant storage problems

So I bought an HPE Proliant DL325 Gen10 CTO. I got a power supply, CPU, heatsink and RAM. All good to go. I can’t get it to read the SSD’s I purchased for it. I used the spec sheet to find the acceptable parts number and also confirmed with a separate supplier that those drives were compatible. The chat tech I talked to said that there was a common problem and I needed to switch from legacy to UEFI. I’ve gone through the menu’s at startup as much as I can. Has anyone dealt with this and know the piece that I am missing?

By “can’t get it to read the SSDs”, do you mean they don’t even appear in the BIOS/RBSU? What SSDs are they?
If the disks are plugged into the onboard RAID card you might need a driver if you’re installing Windows as the base OS.
Bit more info would be good
