How will this build run games? limitations etc

  • AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition
  • EVGA GTX 660 Ti 2GB
  • Kingston HyperX Blu Red Series LE 8GB DDR3 RAM (2x4gb)
  • WD Caviar Blue 250gb 7200 RPM Spindle Drive
  • SILVERSTONE Strider Essential series 600W

Feel free to flame, and trash the build if you like.

p.s, I am new to building gaming style PCs; therefore, I went for a budget build.

That will play games very nicely. Although I would go for an amd FX processor and a 990fx mobo. The fx 6300 is a good gaming processor, but if you have the money I would go for something like the 8350, I would also save a little on the case, maybe go for a bitfenix shinobi. Also if you can, get a better hard drive.

Sorry, I didnt realise that you had already got the parts. Therefore I would suggest upgrading the Hard drive, otherwise it is a decent budget build.
