So I’m looking into buying a Radeon AI PRO 9700.
I use SilverStone ST1500-TI 1500W ATX 2.0 in my Threadripper machine and would really like to keep it.
Can that kind of PSU power 12V-2x6 GPU like the 9700?
I looked around the producer does not offer any adapters. And the one I can find are 12VHPWR so that is not a 12V-2x6 right?
I wasn’t changing my GPU when the whole ATX standard switch happened and didn’t pay much attention, so I’m doing my homework now.
The AI Pro 9700 has a 1x 12V-2x6 to 2x PCIe 8pin adapter in the box… Great bang for the Buck about 45% faster rendering than my w6800 for half the Money…
Every one? There is AsRock, Gigabyte, Asus, PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX and AMD.
I saw that PowerColor had the power adapter but the Sapphire does not list any info on their website about it and most retailers just copy vendor images without checking anything themselves.
I’m mostly interested in Sapphire as they have the best track record in my region.
