How to make HDD as main drive

Hey guys, so i reasently built my first build and i have a SSD and a HDD in it. i instaled my os and a couple programs on it. And all the other programs i want to instal on the HDD, how could i make the HDD as my main drive so i wount have to change the file location everytime i save or instal something. And for some reason even if i do change the location of the file it still apears in the C drive (the SSD)

This will require a small registry tweak:

  1. Open the registry editor
  2. Navigate to the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
  3. Locate the value "ProgramFilesDir" and change the default value "C:\ProgramFiles" or whatever it says to your desired location
  4. Close the registry editor and reboot

Should do the trick
