How to get rid off ads in Skype for Windows

Exactly that last bit and when you try to find a source in hosts it's sources 0.0.0.0/8 so instead of looping and pinging your system it just returns a source unavailability. That is what people on stack exchange are not saying
Lol maybe I should hope on there haha

I am sorry, but I didn't understand what you were trying to say with your post. Can you rephrase that please?

The hosts file routes to 0.0.0.0/8 at least in windows 10 it does

To be correct, the host file doesn't route any data, it just returns static DNS records. The only default records it has (at least in my experience) are a few for localhost (127.0.0.1). If your hosts file contains other entries, then you or someone else added those manually.

Lol that's true.. however I added a the list from Steven black and I routed it to that ip address space and defined it at the top when o was on Windows 8 but it seems it does that auto in win10 through my research however even if it didn't it's still fairly easy to do
