Hearing that they use it in tek talk just now,how is it for you guys?A few questions though.
1:Does it use less resource?
2:Is it worth it?
3:How well does it filter and whitelist,and does it restrict a lot of other thing?
4:Is it better in general?
Adblock plus does use quite a bit of resource,as I use firefox,so a new better solution is welcome.

The desktop client is very good, Not only blocked out adds but setting the parental settings blocked out the naughty websites.
That's were my restrictive question comes from,is this auto or can it just be disable?
Not meaning just adult sites,any other sites it may or may consider,"harmful to the kiddies".
It's a free extension, why don't you just try it out?
And ad-blocker is not such a nice piece of software (as it sends your requests to third party servers just the same as ad-spyware).
What you want to use, is a script blocker. You can use Noscript, but it's crude in it's settings and cannot be finetuned.
A good alternative is Policeman, which is an add-on that lets you allow only those scripts and crosslinks that you are comfortable with. It's quite handy to use, isn't really annoying to use, and you can block crosslink scripts that spy on you, whilst still allowing the content you want to support or enjoy.
