I have dozens of videos in .mov format and my car does not support it. As far as I know, MP4 videos are fine. Is there any easy way to let me bulk convert mov to mp4 on my Windows 11 PC, preferably not lowing the resolution and frame rate?
I tried the built in Windows 11 media player but it does not have an option for changing from .mov to .mp4.
Handbrake can do this nicely, lots of how-to’s available.
The free command line tool ffmpeg. You can bulk convert mov to mp4 with a single command:

Neither MOV nor MP4 are descriptive of any actual support here since neither describe a video format. Both of them are container formats, and in fact, MOV was the basis for the MP4 container.
But anyway, what you need to be looking at is codec support. Check the manual if it says what it supports. If it’s from within the last 20 years or so, it’ll probably support h.264, if it’s from within the last 10 years or so probably h.265 too.
If the existing codec is supported, you don’t need any longwinded transcoding at all (which both the previous answers will do), see also Generation loss.
In that case you can just do a simple remux instead. If you’re opting for ffmpeg, use copy as the “codec” in that case.
