How about this for a first "from scratch" build?

I haven't actually built a PC before, I purchased a stock Lenovo and just slapped a new GPU and PSU in it and off I went into the wonderful world of PC gaming! I've decided it is time to build a PC from scratch though. I've got a list here, and just want to know how it looks!

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz

GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6770 1GB 128-bit GDDR5

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz

PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 V2 600W

MOBO: GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 AM3+ AMD 970 ATX AMD

CASE: NZXT M59 - 001BK Black Steel ATX Mid Tower

Now, the GPU and PSU are leftover from my previous system, and I will eventually upgrade to a better card, but I would like to know how it looks as-is? The CPU in my last build (an old Athlon) was bottlenecking my old PC, so I never really got to see how well the 6770 can perform, sadly :(

Everything looks good, only thing I would suggest:  If you can find 1866MHz Ram for similar price then go for that.  Your motherboard supports it.

Here is some 1866MHz for $50
