Hello all, does anyone have recommendations for hiking trails in the West Virginia (or nearby state) area? I’m from Pennsylvania and want to sleep in someone else’s woods for a change of scenery.
I like to camp and just chill so I want to find a decent size loop if I can, something like 40-60 miles would be ideal.
I don’t have any recommendation as I have not been there hiking, but I do travel a lot and I use the AllTrails app on my phone and/or iPad to find good trails to hike.

That’s a solid tip, AllTrails is pretty useful for checking trail length, elevation, and recent conditions from other hikers, but it’s also worth double-checking loop options and camping rules on official park or forest websites since the app doesn’t always clearly show longer loop connections or backcountry regulations.
