Hi,
I’m trying to reduce the power consumption from my servers and noticed that they won’t go any deeper than the C2 c-state. As far as I understood, the CPU should be able to go up to at least C7 though. I tried all the BIOS settings that seemed related to c-state control but to no avail. Also tried to unplug every PCIe Devices (except for the NVMe SSDs) but that didn’t help either. Do you guys have some other Ideas I could try? Or is >=C7 working for someone here on the same board? Really don’t know what to try anymore and can’t really find much on the web regarding this topic (except ppl. wanting to turn off c-states altogether) Many thanks in advance.
