Help Please PC Build Advice

Ok so basically I have got a list of components for a PC build that I think will work together-

AMD FX8350 Black Edition 8 Core Processor (4.0/4.2GHz, 8MB Level 3 Cache, 8MB Level 2 Cache, Socket AM3+, 125W)

Asus Sabertooth 990FX AMD 990FX SB950 Motherboard DDR3 ATX TUF R2.0 Socket AM3+

G.Skill RipjawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit

Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 64MB Cache Hard Drive SATA 6Gb/s <8.9ms 7200rpm - OEM

MSI GeForce GTX 660 TwinFrozr III OC 2GB GDDR5

Zalman Z11 Plus Black Tower Case

Novatech PowerStation Black Edition 750W Silent ATX2 Modular Power Supply

LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x DVD+/-RW SATA Black

Please let me know if any of these will not work together, and suggestions for it.

Many Thanks

>cpu cooler? gonna need one cause the stock cooling is garb.

>psu, there are better options for the price, grab something from xfx, seasonic, corsair, silverstone, nzxt. Look for a strong single 12v rail. Something like this is cheap, would comfortably handle your build with loads of headroom.

Thank you so much for the advice.

The Hyper 212 evo is a great cooler for a decent price. I would recommend getting a Sapphire HD 7870-XT if you can afford it into your budget as it will vastly outperform the GTX 660 overclocked.

Sparks build looks good, i would only change 2 things.

  1. psu, pickup the Lepa G650W 80+ Gold, its on a great sale of $78
  2. GPU, you can get a EVGA GTX-760 for the same price then a GTX660. but if you can spend a little bit more, then i would suggest to pickup a EVGA-GTX-760 with ACX cooler (superclocked) or the Msi GTX760 twinfrozer. both cards are on sale for arround $256
