I have the 10 gigabit 1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Triple Monitor - Two Computer
Computer 1 is Dell Precision 5880
Computer 2 is Geekom A9 Max Mini PC
When I switch back to the Mini PC sometimes one or two of the monitors drops signal and I have to unplug / replug the cable back into the Mini PC. It’s inconsistent which monitor. The cables are DP to HDMI and DP to USB C. How do I fix this? Could it be a power issue with the Mini PC?
Hmmm. Can you list the specific cables you use?
This sounds sleep-related for the Mac
The Max Mini PC is connected to the KVM via:
1 VisionTek HDMI to Display Port Active Cable
2 UGREEN USB C to Display Port 8K@60Hz 4K@240Hz
Sometimes the monitor connected to the HDMI cable loses signal, sometimes the monitor connected to the USB C cable loses signal. It does not seem to follow a pattern.
The Dell computer is connected to the KVM via:
3 Dell Dp To Mini Dp Cable Adapter Dongles + 3 DP cables
1 standalone monitor connected to the computer but not connected to the KVM
When I switch back and forth from the Dell, the monitors don’t lose signal, but the windows do rearrange, and the standalone monitor that is not connected to the KVM switches from portrait mode to landscape mode.
And apologies, I mistyped above. It is the quad monitor KVM. At the present time, I only have 3 monitors connected.
