I know microsoft certified windows debugging specialists that always reccomend furmark for stress-testing your graphics card. if it doesn't stress the card, what good is it?

Im running a i5 3470. Nothing fancy. Check my spec in my profile for the other stuff I got. Im running integrated graphics with the latest drivers and can play TF2 fine once I dialed the settings back. However when applying new settings in game sometimes it will get stuck and I will have to CTL+ALT+DEL to get out of the window anf get back into it. One time I had to stop TF2 all together and re open it. It does seem to be glitchy when applying new settings which it did not do when I had the 7870XT installed.
My 3770k platys CSS at max with ~ 20 fps. Turned shadows down and reflections down to just reflec world instead of reflect all and got ~ 70fps constant. 1080p. So I don't think my CPU is faulty. I'll do some more testing when the friggin 670 gets here.
Ok well that's interesting. Was just watching youtube and messaging my buddy on skype and it crashed the exact same way it does sometimes in game. I feel almost like it's getting worse? Please help.

WAIT I HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS.
Is it just World at War? Because it's been reported often to have tons of incompatibility issues with Intel graphics and some other cards. I play it, and on some levels it just freezes, and whenever I try to lower settings it freezes/crashes my computer.
It recently happened while just watching youtube and chatting on skype, but it also happens whenever I launch any game. tell me more. any fixes?
TBH I just pirated W@W to play zombies with my friend, but I recently played through the campaign because its one of the few games my pc can handle atm, and because my internet is to atrocious to play anything multiplayer (20-100kb/s DL, 5-10kb/s UL, ~450 ping. Paying for 5 meg dl, 1 meg ul, and <75 ping. boy do I love living in the middle of nowhere.)
Why spend the money on a Pc then lol. I understand single players are still fun but still.
I'd have gotten something more mid range like a 660/7870 build.
Why don't you want your 670?
