Help me Improve my cooling

So my current setup is not exactly cool

It gets a ALOT hotter but I was reluctant to let it run longer.

My GPU destroys the temperature and makes it a LOT worse. My GPU is also a concern

I need something to help me decrease the amazing temperatures.
A lot of this is probably cause by the lack of airflow throughout my house and the ambient temperatures of Australia

I've got stock coolers on my i7-4770 and R9 390
Shitty case fans supplied with my shitty case

I'd like something cheap and expandable and please to got QUIET

Hyper 212 Evo, if you don't care about sound there are some cheap 90CFM fans that will push tons of air, but run very loud

I hate loud PCs
so pls no

Lol.

But seriously the hyper 212 evo is cheap and is a lot quieter than the stock intel piece of shit.

IDK what kind of case you have, but if you want your computer to be very quiet, then you need a decent case. Tech monday starts in 1 hour for the east cost, sooooooo this is really your last opportunity to kit out your computer for cheap.

Well I can barely hear my fans going til my GPU starts being used
also I live in Straya so no deals here

Find a bunch of copper pipe, hammer it flat, sand it and zip tie it to your CPU

When I meant cheap, I meant value oriented.

Like my budget is $200 now and maybe an extra $100 later
I'd prefer to spend as little as needed

Then just get a 212 evo.

You will be happy.

You can also get some good quality thermal paste and remove the heatsink from your gpu and reapply some thermal paste.

GPU manufacturers almost always use the cheapest and crappiest thermal past for their GPUs, and you could potentially reduce your gpu temps by a significant amount.

This'll do yer coolin

Check out Noctua air coolers. I have the D14, it's got two fans and is quieter than my 660ti. pcasegear are selling their products for within your budget $100+. I will say the D14 is massive, so be sure to check compatibility. I had to get low profile ram.

noctuas like dream said.

also what case? how many fans? ect... besides cpu cooler, case fans are nice, and noctua also makes very quiet case fans that move a lot of air.

what type of fans? i assume all 3? if you replace the cpu cooler, and you already have 3 fans, and still have high temps you are going to have to replace your case for one with more fans/better air flow.

Or modify the case to mount more fans in the top. That's always an option for someone who is wanting to customize their build with the help of some hand tools and materials.

true, but it's a lot of work and he has a nice resell-able case. it's probably easier and more cost effective for him to sell his old case and buy a new one if the need arises.

Sell

It may be rusting... I live near the sea...
