Help me identify this IDE connector please

Hi everrrybody,

(Please see pictures below)

I've got a router here and I want to add a caching HDD into it's hot-swap bay, but I don't recognise this backplane connector at all.  I know it's IDE because it has 80 Pins and terminates in a 44 Pin mini-IDE connector.

If someone can tell me the form factor so I can go and buy a drive that would be most appreciated.  Many thanks.

It does have IDE printed on it - so if i had to guess id say compact flash

I think it might be SCSI

or its an IDE extension and uses one of these

Looks looks like a IDE Extension. I'm guessing for maybe a hot swappable IDE bay.

Damnit...

I didn't recognise it all.  SCSI was the first thing I checked but it didn't look anything like the Google Image results so I dismissed it.  Lo and behold, when I pull out one of my SCSI drives it matches perfectly.  Rookie mistake, thanks for the help.

Thank-you for your help, it's SCSI and I'm an idiot.

IDE printed on it confused me too, but it's SCSI, which I should have spotted immediately.  Thanks anyway.
