[Help] How to turn off "ROG" Light off on Asus GPUs?

hello! ive been searching for a way to turn off the ROG light off on my 980 Poseidon and i cant control it via Geforce Experience

i was able to adjust the light on my Windforce 970 with all the effects and what not and even turn it completely off, so i dont know why the Poseidon wont allow me to do change the light off.

hmm tempting option.

A less drastic option would be black electrical tape. Hides all my blue LEDs real well. Can only see a minuscule amount bleeding through in total darkness.
