Help for a liquid cooling noob

BUT BUT BUT

My thinking on this isnt for the radiator cooling aspect but for the increased airflow on the system. If its wrongthink then I’m happy to entertain ideas.

I have 6 total RGB fans that will be mounted as I see fit.

I want to keep positive pressure to reduce dust.

I want a 360 to fill that side mount for intake.

I can rob fans from my current build/laying around.

The rest I havent thought about, input is welcome.

When you have a 360 with one layer of fans pulling air into the case, you got your positive pressure.
Then two fans at the top to help hot air out.

What kind of temps are you seeing on that 1700?

Sorry for the late reply but i had to stesstest the system
with 20°C outside temperature:
Idle: 29°C
CPU + GPU Stresstest: 45°C

What OC if any?

Where is your fill / drain ports? (guesing fill is top of rez)

No OC on CPU
Custom Bios on GPU +150 Mhz Core +400 MHz Memory 100% voltage

I drain and fill the system through the res.

Draining there is prob a pita, filling there should be easy mode.

If you rebuild and want to add a drain port a T fitting on the back pump port might make it a bit nicer and just put a ball valve on the on side.

@Adubs you pick rads yet?
This is one of my favorite places to get a quick look at performance

https://www.ekwb.com/blog/which-pump-should-you-use-d5-or-ddc/
Is a quick pump comparison

Im partial to bits power fittings, but honestly they are all probably fine i you arent shipping, as you will address any leaks during intial leak test

I havent picked literally anything except my fans yet. This is great, thanks. Finally some pressure drop curves.

I should probably find pump curves.

Petg is really easy to bend by hand, i didn’t even open the second pack i bought in case of fuck ups. I probably spent 2-3 hours at most on the tubing of my fx build.

Side note, the insert i bought was a different brand than the tube and barely fit in the tube lubed up

Did you get a mandrel set and silicon insert or just wing it?

Silicone insert is a must, i used nothing else (and heat gun)

I just free bend it with the silicon insert have some of the bending things but rarely use them.

Lube is a must for sure

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Cant ram that silicon in raw dog

I might buy the mandrels just so I can have the same size radius on every bend… or maybe just use something laying around. Should have kept the 3d printer so I could make my own.

Here is my experience water-cooling

Could just make some out of wood if you really wanted some, I think the 90 is the only one I ever used.
