Heat sync before mobo instalation?

I have to put the cpu and heat sync on before I put the mobo in the case correct?

I would say yes, but it isn't always necessary. Its a hell of a lot easier to install the heat sink before you install the motherboard.

If the humongous size of the heatsink doesn't prevent you from attaching the power cables and screwing the motherboard in place - shouldn't make a difference.

depens on your cooler, with a bigger aircooler, i allways install it on the board first, before it put the board in the case. ☺
