Hi guys
I’m going to start of by saying: “I’m an idiot and i do not, for the life of me, know what im doing.” Not really at least. And the basically equates to me leaning heavily on LLMS and google to figure shit out. Which goes alright for the most part and horribly wrong in other cases.
Long story short, because my zfs pool was corrupting (reading would make stuff dissappear) I got a HBA which appearantly comes from or is meant for a rackserver from amazon. It at some point sent a msg of sorts that it was 107 C which i thought wasnt very good so i ended up putting some fans in my chassis I had laying around before proceeding to rebuild my proxmox single machine multiple vms setup.
Now, I and by extentions a plethora of different chatbots, cannot for the life of me find the temperature reading of said HBA. Which should be there. We’ve tried monitoring the kernel and some tools like storcli and mpt3sas and just regular old hwmon. Which is probably a good thing because it probably means it’s (kinda) fine but i can’t shake this feeling of uneasyness.
