I’m curious if different architectures have different hardware encoders, for example intel Xe, Xe2 and Xe3. Or is it possible that 2 generations can have the same hardware encoder. Example Xe and Xe2 have architecture 1 of the encoder, but Xe3 have architecture 2.
My question comes from thinking about dGPUs arc A310, A380, B570 and iGPUs B390 (Panther Lake), 2 core Xe3 (Wildcat Lake).
