So i tried to take off my h55 and make the logo 90 degrees as it should be, but no, i cant unscrew it is the little silver things are spinning in the backplate... Like when you have a nut on a bolt but the nut just spins with the bolt. Its the same thing. Someone please help. Its fucking rediculous. Driving me insane having the logo not in a straight line! How can i get it unstuck without running the risk of putting a knife or something like that through the mobo.
Take your time mate and chill. Loosen the retention ring out and pull forward, turn pump, push back retention ring and then tighten back down.
I completely agree. I broke a plastic backplate in anger in the same situation. Thank god the motherboard still worked at the time.
