H13SSL-NT vs H14SSL-NT?

Hi all!

My X9SRL-F gave up after 12 years hard work.

I’m about to order a H13SSL-NT but was planing on ordering a H14SSL-NT for my homelab but H14SSL-NT could take months to get so i wonder what more then the ability to handle 500w CPU? My CPU is a 9115 so 100-200w is fine for me. But the memory speed is 6400 MT/s and like Wendell said in his review video of the H14SSL-N, H13SSL-N can be picky with RAM.

So if i understood it all the only difference would be 500w CPU support and 6400 MT/s. Am i missing something else?

There are several revisions of H13SSL-NT. High memory speed is only supported starting rev 2.1. Good luck confirming a revision with a vendor.

I’m sorry. i thought of rev 2.01 and newer. Are you sure there is a rev 2.1? I hope i get that one then. They wore out of stock and might get here next week.

Yep - you’re right. Supermicro manual p13

Ohh! Thank you!

“4.5 TB of ECC DDR5/3DS RDIMM at 6400 MT/s (EPYCTM 9005 series processors, with motherboard Rev 2.01 or later
required)”

That is awesome! But i still wonder why there is a Rev 2.01 when the H14 model have a better 500w CPU support and otherwise is the same then. Very weird to my… but then again i’m not used to new servergrade stuff.
