Guide to Mining with NVIDIA **Now with guide to mining FeatherCoin**

Had a follow up question! So with that script layout, even though we are mining in a pool, the coins aren't being put into a worker setup right, to which then we say "Auto-Deposit" they just go straight into our wallets because we are mining to our address. Right? Btw what's the speed/turn around rate currently on FeatherCoins, I'm debating do I go away this weekend and leave my PC running for LiteCoins or for FeatherCoins (I 200 kh/s) so what do you think?

Pretty sure he runs it on Linux himself (creator of cudaminer)

Right now you'll be getting ~160 FC a day. It's really your call whether you think FC will keep growing or not. Personally, I would go with FC because I like having big numbers of coins and I do think it will keep growing.

Now this is the setup for LiteCoins

"cudaminer -o http://us-pool.give-me-ltc.com:8080 -O Chiz.2:pass -i 1 -l 70x2 "

For GPU mining, do I still need to add all those numbers and dashes after the pass section on the end or not, cause in the FeatherCoin mining example you just said (your key).(whatever you want)

Have I done something wrong? I copied everything exactly like you posted for FeatherCoins but I am not getting any "Accepted 100%"  just what you see in this picture here http://gyazo.com/4a98e5194f5ef3430d2cdf0839d96251.png?1366332455

Your setup for FeatherCoin would be:

"cudaminer -o http://fpool1.zapto.org:19327 -O [yourkey]:[whatever] -i 1 -l 70x2"

If you're leaving over the weekend, take out the -i 1 as well so it would be

"cudaminer -o http://fpool1.zapto.org:19327 -O [yourkey]:[whatever] -l 70x2"

Also, notice it's [yourkey]:[whatever] not [yourkey].[whatever], as if [yourkey] is your worker and [whatever] is your password.

Possible you did something wrong but more likely you just haven't got any shares yet; it could take a little while. Post your launch.bat if you want.

I finally hit 5 accepted on my GDU, however as you can see from my minerd/CPU, it's not getting anything, just keeps repeating what you see there.

Looks good to me i think it's working fine.

Really? Cause my CPU Miner has only accepted 5 so far and my GPU is only at 12 total since I originally started. Aren't FeatherCoins suppose to mine easier/quicker than LiteCoins?

They do... the rate at which you get shares changes from pool to pool and time to time... if you are getting less shares then those shares are worth more. If you open your FC wallet you should see coins start to come pretty soon.

So the fact that it's actually taking a while is actually a good thing?

Well yes and no. It's normal but it's not necessarily "good" because if you had a higher hashrate you'd be getting them faster. So it's nothing to worry about. Mine gets shares pretty slow too and I've gotten 400 coins since about this time last night. Difficulty spiked just over half way through that but still.

Lol so I should just let this run over the weekend and whatever happens happens, store these in a piggy bank then go back to LiteCoining it up? :P

So I never solo mine and I thought I'll try with Feathercoins, my feathercoin.conf file in %appdata% reads:

My CMD is:

There isn't any "yay!!!" where are my coins going in my wallet? I dont have any. Thanks

Difficulty is high and network hashrate is huge. You probably won't hit a block for a couple days at that hash rate. It will only say "yay!!!" when you found a block when solo mining.

So I didn't make any coins :(

Nope. You should probably hop on a pool with that hashrate :)

I'm using cgminer to mine fc but for some reason it wont mine it just does this http://imgur.com/pLQbCZV. Any help is appreciated.
