I'm going to build my own pc, but I'm not quite sure what GPU i should pick, and I would like some help, and suggestions. I'm set on the Geforce GTX 700 series, but I don't know if i should get 2x760, 1 770 or 1 780 card.
I'm going to use the rig for gaming, and would like to be able to run my games on high settings with playable fps. And what VRam should i get, 2/3/4 ?
Any help is greatly appreciated
This is assuming you have enough of a power supply. So, if you have the budget, get the 780. It will at the very least last longer. As far as more demanding future games anyway. If you play at 1080P, the 2GB should be enough. But again if you have the budget, more RAM will be better in the long run. For gaming, the GPU is the most important part. In my opinion, the 780 is a great card and has a pretty reasonable price tag (all things considered).
A single 780 is definitely the best option. Dual 760's are about as powerful as the 780 but add all the weird variables Sli brings. And the price difference of dual 760's and a 780 is basically nonexistent so a 780 is definitely a better option. A 770 is very powerful but will not last as long as the 780 so if your on a budget, its great. But if you have the budget, a 780 is definitely worth it.
I'm gonna play at 1080p(forgot to mention that before.) I have the money for it, but wasn't quite sure if it was worth it, compared to the other options. But it seems like it is, so I'll go with the 780. Thanks for the help.
The 770 is a really good, balanced option. If you are a graphics whore, get the 780.
