GTX 750Ti vs GTX 970

Finally my new Asus Strix GTX 970 came this morning, so i made some benchies. Pretty happy with the card, its quiet and temp not exceeding 60°C. I think that my old i7 920 can live up to 6 years after all :D

you had the asus 750ti or the the nvidea one?

MSI GTX 750Ti  Gaming. Maybe i keep her for PhysX, because of low heat and doesn't need external power connector.

The 750 ti was a dream man no external power and that performance man i currently use this card and it is a bang for the buck

I was happy with 750Ti, but it was a temporary replacement for my noisy 560 Ti, which was already replacement for GTX 285 :D But yeah, Metro LL in full HD, on very high-high details with no problem.

holy shit with physics? cuz the review showed 970 cant handle it? and what was your oc vs standard performance? (just curious)

Of course not with PhysX :D

Ah PhysX, what a piece of hyped crap. So with 750Ti as dedicated PhysX card i get basically the same FPS as with solo 970 in Metro, which is around 50FPS. WTF?

No overclocking yet, i noticed low GPU usage in lots of games, so i am waiting for new drivers. In Metro with PhysX enabled the GPU usage raised of course.

well there is a game called warframe and physx makes a bit of difference there nad i see that with 750ti too only 70% usage on everything high

I dont like Warframe with PhysX, when the world explodes, because of Nova, i cant see shit and it lags :D And now with the new update there is huge amount of debris even without PhysX :(

Thats most likely because of your older cpu.
