ive tried for 20mins to get it to work
The GTS 450 is probably going to be a bottleneck. You're probably better off just running the GTX 580 without a dedicated physX card.
i have a 2600k/gainward 580 3gb, and accidentally won a GTS-450 on the ebays.
so im going to be doing some testing of PhysX heavy games
Im gonna benchmark (using the in-game benchmarks) a few games that have Physx with a GTX 580 and a dedicated GTS450 PhysX card.
test with 450
test just on 580
test physx set to CPU.
making graphs to show if a physx card is worth it, with cards at stock clocks then at OC.
(results up as soon as card arrives)

Metro 2033 tested,
thats some gameplay out the way now for the bench that i forot about.
Test settings below
Using the 450 for PhysX result as follows;
MAX FPS = 62.06
Min = 9.14
results for PhysX on the GTX 580:
Results for CPU PhysX;
RESULTS FOR MAFIA 2
benchmark maxed out, everything as high as it will go,
1st test GPU 580 PhysX on 450 = 64.3FPS
Test 2 PhysX on 580 (450 turned off) = 45.4FPS
Test 3 PhysX on cpu(via Nvidia control) = 20FPS
seems mafia is a more PhysX based game then metro so far,
now BATMAN AA
ok so for Batman Arkham asylum you need patch 1.1 or V1.1 for PhysX support,
the setting will be as follows, (i always turn motion blur off in any game!)
test 1: gts450 as PhysX gpu
Test 2 GTX 580 as PhysX card
Test 3 CPU PhysX
and now onto Batman Arkham City.
Tested maxed out again,
You trolling? Because I can't see your posts...
Oh wow, that's pretty impressive. I wasn't sure if the GTS 450 would be up to snuff running alongside a GTX 580.
i was trying to copy the whole thread over, but its to much effort.
