My friends copy of GTA 4 wont let him activate his serial, we have tried my version of the game and his but both wont allow him to get past the release date check, it is checked using Sony DADC Securom. He has a internet connection and all is fine as I can see. If anyone has any info on how to solve this plz help as he has had this problem since friday night.
This happened to me awhile ago on a different game.
But i resolved it the asshole way. I just went to any
store that sells PC games and looked at the CD code on
the box, took a picture of it, went back home and
activated it. Now its someone elses problem.

This is a retail copy not a pirated copy, he bought it on friday
Let him to contact the shop and tell them about the issue.

Its ok guys I forgot to post that he got it sorted, all he had to do was download this .exe then it worked, but thanks for still trying to help.
