GPU problem?

Ok so here are my specs:

-OS: Windows 7 64bit

-CPU: Intell I5 2400k

-CPU fan: enermax fan

-MOBO: Biostar TZ77XE4

-RAM: x2 4gb corsair vengeance ddr3

-PSU: Antec High current gamer 620w

-GPU: visiontek radeon hd 5770

Now here is my problem. I have been running this setup for over a year minus the mobo, I purchased that a few months ago to fix my old mobo. I run two monitors (an acer and a samsung) and just the other day my acer started to act goofy. the color on the screen was faded green and looked very uggly. I got pissed because my samsung didnt have this green faded color and since i have had way to many problems with my acer i assumed it was my acer and cursed at it. I unplugged it and just ran one screen (my samsung) and moved on. Everything was fine until the next day. The samsung now had the same faded green color to it that the acer did. After doing some tooling around I believe that the problem is the GPU. I took out the GPU and have been running on board since mid afternoon and everything has been fine. I am sure that I have the most recent drivers installed for the card so here is my question. Is my card broken? If its something else please let me know. I will be the states for a week on a trip so I might not be able to get back to any of your suggestions or comments on what to do.

Thanks for the help. I appreciate it.

I forgot to mention that my computer runs at 30C at the highest, and even then thats only when im playing BF3 or other games. Could my GPU have possibly overheated even if my temp is at that?

most likely your card is about to die... hwoever check the drivers and make sure the color sliders are not all messed up.

make sure you dont have any odd settings enabled that might conflict with your card.

update to the 12.6 beta drivers

if none of that works....

if you are good at soldering, take the shroud off and look for burn marks, swolen capacitors, or burnt out diodes, repair them if htere are any (however this sounds more like the GPU its self). remove the old thermal paste and put the card (without the shroud) in a ziplock bag, remove all the air and put it in the freezer for about 4 hours. then set the card in a bown of rice. after its compleatly warm and dry, replace the heatsink and shroud (make sure to apply thermal paste) and see if it works... VERY low chance this would fix it... and even if it did, its just going to give it a few more months... but i have seen it work onece.

Can I check which version I have without having the card in and if I dont have the most up to date drivers can I install them without haveing the card in?
