I'd say he means to upgrade. You'd want a mobo with a 990 chipset to make best use of the FX CPUs though. As far as compatibility, I don't see anything wrong with what you have listed.

please overkill on psu unless your ocing and upgrading to power hungry parts in the next 3 years maybe.
drop that down to 700 watts. it will serve you well
heck even 650 watts would work as well

and yea like they said upgrade your cpu to an fx version

That's true, I have a 6300 and my 650 watt works fine.
