Monkey Island?
The point of the thread was the OP was about to go to a flea market 2 years ago and wanted to know what to look for.
For all we know his NES was sold long ago but I hope not, I would like to know if they found anything good.
I had a couple good ones. I mostly played Ninja gaiden , castlevanja , and metroid . I haven't played with it in a while though , its just in my closet for now . It's flee market season again so hopefully ill find some good gems like some of the ones quain suggested . I'll keep ya posted !
Gradius and Life Force are both great shmups on the NES, Look out for a NES Advantage or similar though, Gamepad ruins gameplay on certain games so it's nice to have an alternative sometimes.
Besides the mentioned ones, i really liked S.C.A.T. , Abadox, Super C (=Contra 2), Batman - The Video Game and Batman - Return of the Joker quite a lot.
if you like puzzle games, get 'Fire and Ice'.
Lemmings is a nice one to kill time.
