Design some useful apps for use on the Safe network and help thwart most of the surveillance and security issues with the current Internet. maidsafe.net
Write libraries/plugins and open source them. If you need ideas, try to make a web app. You're bound to run into some problem that's not been solved/eased by a free library or plugin yet.
