Gaming PC

Hey guys im looking to build my first gaming pc and was wondering if its possible to build a pc that will run the majority of big games like battlefield and farcry on atleast medium for 400 or 500 dollars including windows. thanks for the input and help.

Its possible to build a pc for gaming for 400 to 500 dollars with windows. Whether it plays on medium depends. It probably won't play Crysis 3 on medium but it will play BF3 on medium. If I were you I'd save some more pennies good sir. Its worth the wait I promise!

Ok thanks, what would you say the least you could spend to build a good gaming pc and windows.

the 750-800 range is quite flexible and amazing but for a cheaper sake probably 600 including windows

It depends on the resolution, and this guy didnt say he has a monitor, btw...

at this price range, i'de recommend an apu based sytsem. Do you have periphrials?

If you have a mouse , keyboard, and monitor then look in to http://pcpartpicker.com/user/GhostMistSniper/saved/1qlM

it's only $480.

It can runs battlefiled 3 at

22-24 FPS on Ultra settings @ 1920 x 1080

24-27 FPS on Ultra settings @ 1400 x 900

30-32 FPS on Ultra settings @ 1280 x 720

31-33 FPS on Low settings @ 1920 x 1080

And FarCry 3 at

1440x900 Resoultion, about 30 FPS

I recomend you spend at lest $540 and get

http://pcpartpicker.com/user/GhostMistSniper/saved/1qlS

It's going to run BF3 at Ultra Settings 1080p

Min-27 Max-51 Average-34

And FarCry 3 at 1920x1080 High

Avg: 39 - Min: 33

But i realy recomend looking in to going with linux its a free os http://www.linux.org/ and if you do older games might not work on it but if you have steam, on steam they are trying to get all games runing on linux. If you do go with it http://pcpartpicker.com/user/GhostMistSniper/saved/1qm1

for only $550. The only change is a better gpu from 7770 to 7870 and no OS.

It will run BF3 @ 60+ fps on utra

and the same for for Farcry 3.

I hope this helped you if you have any questions or if you need a monitor, mouse, and keyboard factored in to the build PM me.
