Recently looked at the Siberia V2 Frost blue's but since my friend has it, I'm in no interest to copy him.
Currently I'm interested in the Kingston Hyper x Cloud gaming Headsets, but i read on a review that it has 5.1 virtual surround instead of the newest 7.1. What would this mean in terms of sound quality and usage?
Although this doesnt have an inbuilt USB sound card, would it be sufficent? and does possessing an USB sound card help?
Also just interested, what would the Siberia's be? As per 5.1 or 7.1?
Thanks.
Buy these http://www.amazon.com/Superlux-HD668B-Dynamic-Semi-Open-Headphones/dp/B003JOETX8 and a cheap mic and blow everyone away. Seriously, better than any gaming headset.
I noticed Logan reviewed then and it performed good for the price but for "cheap mics" they break easily, so if i was to get an antlion modmic it would be roughly around $40 and totalling up to 80ish. Pay a little more for the Hyperx's for better quality and probably sound also.
But what i want to know is that would having a USB sound card be better? Like Siberia V2's > Kingstons Hyperx cloud's? Or is it just an marketing item.
