Hello, i would like to ask for advice as for which gpu should i get according to my build, i want something that is good for the money and isn't too expensive, here are my specs:
CPU: Pentium G630 Dual Core 2.7Ghz
MoBo: Asrock h61m-dgs
PSU: CoolerMaster Extreme Power Plus 600W
RAM: Kingston 2gb 1333Mhz DDR3
how much is not too expensive? Going to be need to be precise with your budget to help you more and not get something too big for bottle neck, I would seriously consider getting 2gb of RAM at this point in gaming and general computer use.
I already have 2gb i will be getting another stick of 4gb soon, and i am looking to spend around 100 dollars on the gpu. Thanks.
There's the Asus AMD HD 6670 with 1GB of GDDR5 for around $88 on amazon and you can expect to play most modern games (BF3 etc.) on medium settings at 30-40 fps. This is if you under no circumstances can spend more than $100.
Be aware that you won't be able to play the latest games in ultra/highest settings without the frame rate going very low so If you need more I would suggest either the 7750 or 7770 for a bit over $100 and would certainly be worth the extra investment and could make 30fps to 50fps and give you a little more performance with the latest drivers.
With Boxing day/January Sales around the corner keep an eye out for good deals for them becoming within $100. Hope this helps.
